When booking entertainment for an event it can be very stressful. This is why lots of people come to us to do the hard work for them. You just need to say a few details....

  • Whats your budget?
  • Where and What the event is?  (indoor/outdoor/wedding/corporate)
  • How many guests?
  • Date/time
  • Which act? (if you know)
Its easy really.

The first advantage of using our agency is that we act as a sort of filter. We have already sifted through many acts and hand selected the best so that you don't have to.
The second advantage of using an Agency is we save you time. Not only with selection of an act but with contracts, Invoicing and the financial side of the event. We liaise between the act and the event organisers too.

It may be a little more expensive than booking an act directly but its all above board, by the book and with you and the act in mind. No messing about. If something goes wrong, for example the act becomes unwell, we can find a replacement so you don't have to worry.

So... Whats the big deal?

Live entertainment will always generate interest leading up to, during and for weeks and months after your event.

Maybe you’re looking for a bespoke form of entertainment that reinforces the brand values of your company. Live entertainment is brilliant at reinforcing this.

The main purpose of entertainment in any setting is to entertain. You don't want your guests to be bored and again, they will be talking about it for some time after.

Its a great way to create links and relationships between people. For example, Chatting about the provided entertainment is a good icebreaker between two business associates.

Live entertainment at a good party can revitalise moral. If you have had a difficult year at work or in your personal life its the oomph you need to remember what its all about.

If you are planning an event, corporate, wedding, birthday.... you can find information on our managed acts on our website or if you are thinking of something a little different for your event contact Tony Aston to arrange something awesome.  https://www.astonmanagement.co.uk/

Most people already know that Aston Management goes twice a year to perform in 35c + heat. Its a real tough couple of days for the acts we take but you what, they LOVE it! They are not afraid to work hard! Our band we always take did 3 shows, a brit pop show (all the classic British stuff) The Jam and Bryan Adams! Awesome stuff as usual. We also had another 3 shower doing a very current and spot on tribute to Ellie Goulding! She also performed as Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga! We took our long time friend in the business to perform his amazing Prince tribute along with James Brown, and he even did a bit with the Blues Brothers as Ray Charles!  The iconic Madonna and Cher went down a treat! So many hits over so many years that every one of all ages loved! Sensational!Bob Marley came with us again! What a legend he is!Every time puts on a mad performance! Of course we had 2 other icons passed - David Bowie and George Michael. Both sensational performances and the audience were so engaged! Another really current act we took was Ed Sheeran. He performed the latest hit Galway Girl and the crowd were singing along at the top of their voices! They absolutely loved him! Our very own legend Mr Stevie Wonder came along! The crowd loved him so much! He looked great on the big screens!

Every single one of these guys were outstanding and it was a pleasure working with them.

The promoter we work with really looked after us! Anything we needed he provided. All the crew were fantastic too!

We are excited to be planning the next one in October already. By the way.... its another great line up! But that's a secret for now!!!

Here's what we got up to....

So, people who know Aston Management are very familiar with Miss VJ and Mike. We think we have done a pretty good job working with them (blowing my own trumpet here - sorry not sorry) We wanted to grow and create more wonderful  working relationships with other acts. We saw that special something in these three superstars, Leanne Love, Godfrey Gayle and Dan Budd.

Leanne is our sweetheart performing as Céline Dion. She is also capable of Mariah songs but we will just be concentrating on the Céline repertoire for now. She's a family gal, a fellow West Midlander and a really beautiful singer! With her vocal ability and look, a Céline Dion tribute is the perfect part to play!

Godfrey  is so different to all our other acts because of his Gospel background. You know, he entered a competition in the late 80's and won an award for the Best Male Gospel Choir Soloist which was to do with Stevie Wonder himself! He shared the stage with him! So that's how he got to study him so closely!

Dan , we all know by now that he was a contestant on Let It Shine on BBC1. Pretty cool. Lucky for us he wasn't "Boy Band" material and too much like Robbie! Ha! Just what we need! The comments on twitter were really positive which is always risky to judge how that's going to go... So even though hes the nuts at being a Robbie tribute hes pretty damn good at impersonating GARY BARLOW! Again, i think he had a lot of time to study Mr Barlow while working with him on the show! Check him out here!

So basically.... we are proud!

This pair are two of the most talented people i know (and i know some talented people!) ☻ I have just put together a couple of promo videos of each of them, reminiscing on these particular gigs. I end up wanting to use all of the video footage but i suppose people would get bored...

I have made them into short vids so if you are a fan of Mike or Vicky have a look and share if you like.

What makes an amazing tribute performer? As a manager, its my job to recognise, encourage and nourish whats already there. On the surface its very obvious.

  • Vocals - Strong vocal ability and capability to change your natural voice. Not only through singing but speaking too.
  • Confidence - to be yourself as someone else must be confusing but to be confident in this capability is half the battle.
  • Connection - With the audience. You need to love them so that they can love you!
  • Research - The original artiste needs to be thoroughly studied. Down to every last facial expression, vocal quirk and if the star is still producing music, an ever changing look.  A good tribute will keep their wardrobe, wigs and style up to date.

Underneath and behind the scenes its much harder to come by.

  • Loyalty - Between all involved. A kind of  " I got your back"
  • Trust - You have to trust that each will provide a brilliant working relationship.
  • Consistency - In performance, in business and in personality.
  • Communication - A massive deal breaker if an act has very poor communication. I hate to leave clients waiting. Can you imagine trying to plan your event and having to wait days for an answer.
  • Professionalism - No brainer.

I think these qualities are met in all our acts. That's why we have such good working relationships with all out team and also lots of other fantastic artists. That's why you get an outstanding performance. You have no idea just how hard these very talented people work. Above everything though, passion for performing is the biggest quality of all. That's something we can all see. ☺

Quite often we put on events and this time its to show you our new acts at Aston Management. Stevie Wonder is our headline act. Performing as the legend with his keyboard and dark glasses this is a very authentic performance. The man behind the act is Godfrey Gayle, a fellow West Midlander, and an award winning gospel singer! He has even sang with Stevie Wonder at the NEC when he won 'Best Male Gospel Choir Soloist' in 1989. What a privilege!

Alongside, we have supporting act Céline Dion. Also from the West Midlands, Leanne Love does a stunning tribute to Céline. She has reinvented her show with more material and stunning costumes. Last time she performed locally she went down an absolute storm!

As if thats not enough.... Our Michael Bublé performer Michael Clews has a brand new tribute to Elvis! Believe me...its a night not to be missed!

So, if you fancy it..... here's the link with the info.... https://www.facebook.com/events/838284939647602/

Anyone can make one:
For better or worse, anyone can write a blog post about anything they want. Everyone has a voice and the best voices will rise to the top.

The writer can show their personality:
In blog posts, the writer has more leeway to add in their voice and personality than other types of writing.

Blogs are a great form of mass communication:
You can help people, learn new things, entertain your audience—the possibilities are endless and amazing. Blogging opens up all of these to a very wide audience.

You can make money:

Get the right blog going and you can make a lot of money through advertising and sponsored posts.

It allows people to craft better thoughts:
Instead of reading haphazard, uneducated Facebook statuses, it’s much better to see people’s thought process in a well-written blog post.

You can establish a community:
Blogging allows you to connect with other individuals who share the same interests. Sharing ideas and opinions within your community helps establish yourself as a thought leader.

Good for SEO:
Keeping content on your site fresh and relevant, you can use your blog to boost the search engine ranking (SEO) of your site and your business.

It brings people back to your site:

If your blog is strong enough and updated regularly, people will come back looking for more and bring traffic back to your site as well.

It’s free:
It costs you a grand total of zero dollars to post to the blog, so if you have something to say, there’s nothing to stop you.

You can establish yourself as a thought leader:

A blog is a great place for your original thoughts, and it can be a wonderful way to show off your individuality. If people like your ideas, you can become a thought leader in your industry!
